- When Reading Scripture one should take the approach that scripture was written to “me” and about me.
- According to the teaching of the church Jesus revealed himself & his Father through word and deed (God is no longer a mystery).
- The word of God is the power of God for salvation for them that have faith (please read the Vatican II quote on the left of this page).
John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father's only Son, full of grace and truth. "
Gal 4:4-5 "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to ransom those under the law, so that we might receive adoption. "
Answer the following questions for yourself:
Who does God Love?
Who Am I?
Who was scripture written to?
Who is scripture written about?
Is there anybody God does not Love?
What Do I believe?
What is the only commandment Jesus left me with?
